‘Loulou Pie Creative’ is Elaine Nakhle trading as Loulou Pie Creative.
‘The Client’ is the party making a booking for design related services from Loulou Pie Creative.
‘An Order’ is the request for services from Loulou Pie Creative.
‘The project’ is a term used to describe service from Loulou Pie Creative

The terms and conditions apply to all dealings between The Client and Loulou Pie Creative.
By placing an order with Loulou Pie Creative, you as a Client are forming a legally binding contract for services and you agree to the following terms & conditions.

General Info

QUOTATIONS

All quotes are valid for 7 days only.
No GST charged.
All prices are in Australian Dollars.
Any additional work outside the terms of the quote will be charged at an hourly rate of $90 per/hour.
Loulou Pie Creative is not responsible for increases in materials by third party services (eg printers, packaging suppliers, web developers) where the increases are beyond our control.

PAYMENTS

A minimum 50% non-refundable booking deposit is required before starting any design project, unless stated otherwise.
Any design project under $200 must be paid in FULL.
The Balance remaining is due prior to printing OR release of any digital/printable files.
Payments are to be made by bank deposit transfer OR PayPal (please note: PayPal incurs an additional +3% fee)
All invoice terms are 5 business days from the date of the invoice.
Accounts which are not paid on time will incur a late administration fee of +$50.
All prices are subject to change without notice.
Final artwork files will not be handed over until the invoice has been paid in full.
All printing invoices must be paid prior to sending the artwork to print.

NO GUARANTEES

Loulou Pie Creative cannot guarantee the outcome of design services and the client’s comments about the outcome are expressions of opinion only.
The Client acknowledges that Loulou Pie Creative cannot guarantee any results for design as outcomes are based on subjective factors that cannot be controlled by Loulou Pie Creative.

COMMUNICATION

Loulou Pie Creative is an online business therefore the majority of our communication is made via email, this helps us keep track of specific design requirements & any changes required.

TURNAROUND TIMES

Loulou Pie Creative will make every effort to meet deadlines. However, all quoted turnaround times are approximate & can vary.
Loulou Pie Creative will not be held responsible or liable for any costs resulting from late artwork or printing deliveries.
Rush orders can be accommodated, depending on capacity at the time (additional fee).
Printed items + Production: This will vary from job to job, but would encourage to please allow up to 14 working days.
FOIL or special print finishes: up to 21 working days.

APPROVALS + PROOFING

Approval is required for all projects via email, prior to work being released or printed.
Whilst all care is taken by Loulou Pie Creative, Loulou Pie Creative is not responsible for any spelling, grammatical, numerical errors or omissions after final approval. Even if these errors are from Loulou Pie Creative, it is the Client’s responsibility to proof read and thoroughly check their projects to identify any errors prior to approval.

COLOUR MATCHING + PRINTING

Please note that colour on projects can vary from screen to final product. Screen proofing is not indicative of final printed outcome.
Printed colours can vary from printer to printer, job to job, run to run, or even front to back, due to the nature of the CMYK printing process.
Colour may vary depending on the type + quality of stock you are printing on.
Trimming can vary from printer to printer.
Special Finishes including: foil, white ink and letterpress are available.
Print turnaround times vary depending on the print method chosen.
Extras | Re-prints (invites): Please ensure you order a backup of at least 5-10 extras. The cost of re-prints can be excessive with minimum orders required, not to mention the added time needed for the print process.

PERSONALISED ITEMS | SEATING CHARTS

Please email the names in either an Excel OR Word Document. The details provided MUST be finalised and supplied in the format you would like it presented, i.e. Alphabetical order OR by Table Number.

IMAGES + FONTS

Some designs may contain stock images that are available for purchase.
Any images supplied by the Client must be provided in high resolution and preferably in CMYK. Loulou Pie Creative is not responsible for colour variations in conversion from RGB to process CMYK.
Loulou Pie Creative is not responsible for the reproduction quality of supplied images.
Font ownership/licence is not included, BUT can be purchased separately if required.

The client is responsible for any images provided to be used in the layout. It is assumed that they are owned and does not violate any copyright laws. Loulou Pie Creative holds NO responsibility for any legal fees or royalty charges.
The Client assumes reproduction rights upon full payment of a completed project. (excluding event stationery)
Loulou Pie Creative retains personal rights to use completed projects and concept artwork for the purpose of marketing Loulou Pie Creative. If you have any objectives, please alert me at time of booking.

DESIGN CREDIT + PRIVACY

The Client allows Loulou Pie Creative to display any projects on the Loulou Pie Creative website/ Social media/ and portfolio for self promotion purposes. Invites: Personal details i.e. home address OR phone number will be altered or blurred.
Loulou Pie Creative branding may discretely be printed on the reverse side of invitations or packaged items.

REPRODUCTION + UNUSED DESIGNS

All final designs, INCLUDING any custom artwork created will be added to my collection for resale. If you would prefer that your stationery does not get featured or resold, please advise at the time of booking. This may incur an additional Exclusivity fee.
Any unused design concepts may be re-pitched, repurposed OR added to my pre-made collection (i don't want them to go to waste)

PHOTOGRAPHY

A blend of imagery can be seen on my website+social accounts! Many have been taken or digitally imposed by yours truly. However in some cases, I have been fortunate to have received some beautiful snaps from previous events, taken by various photographers, which I cannot take credit for.

POSTAGE

Pick-up option available from South Hurstville (Sydney).
Loulou Pie Creative currently posts all orders via Australia Post (Estimate: $15-$25 - within Australia). However, larger or heavier packages will be calculated upon shipping and added to the invoice balance. I will keep you informed along the way.
